The American Renaissance WebQuest
You are advised to explore this WebQuest and take a quiz on the American Renaissance (or transcendentalism as it is usually called); this will prepare you to write an essay on the subject.
Each question of the quiz on the Task Page contains a corresponding link on the Resources Page where the answer to the question may be found on various websites.
After the quiz has been taken, write a two-page (minimum) essay based on the information obtained from taking the quiz and from visiting the websites associated with the questions.
Essay Prompt: Discuss the beliefs of transcendentalism as it pertains to slavery, society, education, and religion.
