Content is nearly everything. Don't have good content? No
matter how 'pretty' you make it, the viewer will see through it.....

With Everything - Be Consistent!
Try to stick with a theme. Keep the same backgrounds from slide to
slide, have all your title boxes with the same font and....

Forget the Guns, Bells, Whistles,
Toots, etc.
Come on! Most presentations don't need the sound of guns,
explosions, type writers. Make graphics and animations appropriate
for the content.

Focus Your Audience!
Use animation strategies to bring bulleted text in one at a time,
disappear when finished....

Be Subtle!
The louder you are with your background colors, animations, text
attributes, the more you distract from the content...
