usflag        Mr. H’s Trip to Japan    00000521

For the past seven years, the Fulbright Memorial Fund (FMF) has sponsored yearly trips of 600 American teachers and administrators to Japan.  The purpose of the trip is to learn as much as possible about Japan’s culture and people, and then share that information with our students, schools, and communities in the United States.  In the Fall of 2004, I was lucky enough to be accepted, along with 200 others, to participate in the October cycle to Japan.

The following pages detail my trip.  There are three different ways to use this website to gather information about the trip:

1)      Read the daily journals.  In these you will read about what happened each day of the trip and view pictures of those events.

ADDED BONUS:  This format allows you to live the life of Mr. H and find out what happened to him on a day-by-day basis.  It’s almost like YOU are Mr. H!  Dare to dream!

2)     Read the topical entries.  In these you will read about specific information learned during the trip.

ADDED BONUS:  This format allows you to read Mr. H’s attempt to sound overly intelligent in his entries.  Celebrate his massive brainpower!

3)      Read the whole thing.  If you dare.

ADDED BONUS:  Your friends and relatives will be impressed that you completed the entire website.  You will gain much respect.
